Gel instillation sonohysterography (GIS) is a new technology that allows to obtain high quality images (2D and 3D) of the uterine cavity. The ExEm® gel, unlike saline, fills the uterine cavity and thus gently fixes it. This method so improves the quality of the ultrasound examination that we can speak of virtual hysteroscopy.
