The LAMP Human Lactose Intolerance Duplex KIT is a genetic test for the simultaneous detection of the 4 most frequent polymorphisms of the MCM6 gene associated with lactose intolerance in adulthood.

As an alternative, a separate kit can be used for simultaneous detection of 2 polymorphisms MCM6 13910C/T (rs4988235) and MCM6 13915T/G (rs41380347): LAMP Human Lactose Intolerance KIT.


The tests are based on robust and sensitive LAMP technology followed by melting curve analysis (TaqMan probes). The main advantage of the products is the simplicity and speed of analysis without the need for DNA isolation. Positive controls are included in the kits.

The products are CE-IVD certified and compatible with most available rtPCR instruments (LightCycler 480, CFX96, CFX Opus, RotorGene Q, MIC, QuantStudio 1, 3, 5).
