The LAMP Human Hemochromatosis KIT is a genetic test for the detection of the 2 most common variants in the HFE gene for the diagnosis of hemochromatosis.

  • HFE C282Y (rs1800562);
  • HFE H63D (rs1799945)


The test is based on robust and sensitive LAMP technology followed by melting curve analysis (TaqMan probes). The main advantage of the products is the simplicity and speed of analysis without the need for DNA isolation. Positive controls are included in the kits.

The product is CE-IVD certified and compatible with most available rtPCR instruments (LightCycler 480, CFX96, CFX Opus, MIC, QuantStudio 1, 3, 5).
