The LAMP Human A1AT deficiency KIT is a genetic test for the detection of the two SERPINA1 alleles most commonly associated with alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency leading to lung and liver disease:

  • SERPINA1 Pi*Z (rs289299474);
  • SERPINA1 Pi*S (rs17580)



The test is based on robust and sensitive LAMP technology followed by melting curve analysis (TaqMan probes). The main advantage of the products is the simplicity and speed of analysis without the need for DNA isolation. Positive controls are included in the kits.

The product is compatible with most available rtPCR instruments (LightCycler 480, CFX96, CFX Opus, RotorGene Q, MIC, QuantStudio 1, 3, 5).
