SCAs KIT-FL is a kit enabling the amplification of CAG repeats in the ATXN1, ATXN2, ATXN3, CACNA1A and ATXN7 genes to determine the subtype of spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA1, SCA2, SCA3, SCA6 and SCA7).

The test is based on triplex PCR followed by capillary electrophoresis of the resulting PCR products.

The set contains 5 master mixes for individual SCA types. The kit also includes sequence-specific standards for easy discrimination of normal and pathological alleles.


The kit is compatible with ABI instruments and is CE-IVD certified.
