ora™ is the world’s first non-invasive test that determines the so-called Window of Implantation (WOI) – the period when the endometrium is ready to receive an embryo.
The test is performed using a standard blood sample, so the patient does not need to undergo an uncomfortable biopsy.
How does the test work?
The test analyzes nearly 300 microRNA biomarkers in blood plasma, which are associated with more than 1,000 genes linked to endometrial receptivity.
Based on their expression, the test determines whether the endometrium is:
-
receptive
-
pre-receptive
-
post-receptive
Test results help:
-
accurately time embryo transfer during an IVF cycle
-
improve synchronization between the endometrium and the embryo
-
reduce the number of failed implantation cycles
Who is ora™ suitable for?
-
women with recurrent implantation failure or miscarriages
-
patients over 35 years of age
-
women with high or low BMI
-
couples with limited numbers of high-quality embryos
Advantages:
-
Non-invasive method – blood draw instead of biopsy
-
High accuracy – over 95% success rate in determining WOI
-
Single test cycle – with the option of two blood draws (e.g., on days 4 and 5 after starting progesterone)
-
Fast turnaround – results available within a few days after analysis
-
Suitable for both natural and hormone-controlled cycles
