eazyplex® BloodScreen includes two main panel formats:
BloodScreen GP (Gram-positive panel) – targets common Gram-positive bloodstream pathogens and selected resistance genes such as vanA and vanB.
BloodScreen GN (Gram-negative panel) – detects key Gram-negative bacteria and genes associated with extended-spectrum β-lactamases (e.g., CTX-M-1 and CTX-M-9 groups).
The test is performed directly from positive blood culture bottles, without prior DNA extraction, significantly speeding up diagnostic turnaround time.
LAMP technology enables rapid and specific detection of pathogen DNA at a constant temperature.
Minimal hands-on time (approx. 3 minutes).
First amplification signals often appear in less than 10 minutes.
Full results are available in about 20 minutes.
Results can be exported as PDF, CSV, or adhesive labels.
Lyophilized reagents are ready to use and stable at room temperature.
Rapid diagnostics support early therapy decisions in sepsis, a condition where every minute counts.
Direct testing from positive blood cultures eliminates the need for DNA extraction.
Broad pathogen coverage, including both Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms, plus some key resistance markers.
Real-time display of amplification signals during testing.
This product is designed for clinical microbiology and hospital laboratories as an aid in the rapid identification of bloodstream infection pathogens and resistance determinants from positive blood cultures. Rapid results can help:
Inform appropriate antimicrobial therapy sooner
Aid antibiotic stewardship and sepsis management
Reduce delays inherent in traditional culture and resistance testing
