The disg has bevelled edges at the bottom so that oocytes etc. are more visible and easier to handle. The flared top edge prevents spillage of contents if handled carelessly. The rectangular base allows the bottom of the dish to be labelled as well, reducing the risk of mixing up dishes, and the lid can be kept on when labelling. Thanks to the flat bottom, a safe temperature is maintained even on a heated table or hotplate. Stackable.
